Power and Voltage Control Based on DC Offset Injection for Bipolar Low-voltage DC Distribution System

The bipolar low-voltage DC (LVDC) distribution system has become a prospective solution to better integration of renewables and improvement efficiency reliability. However, it also faces the challenge power voltage imbalance between two poles. To solve this problem, an interface converter with asymmetrical operating capabilities is applied in paper. steady-state models LVDC equipped grid connected mode off-grid are analyzed. A control scheme based on offset injection at secondary side proposed, enabling realize unbalanced transfer poles grid-connected maintain inherent pole balance mode. Furthermore, paper proposes primary-side according analysis magnetic circuit model, which can eliminate bias flux caused by secondary-side offset. Thereby, potential core saturation overcurrent issues be prevented, ensuring safety system. Detailed simulations proposed conducted validate function under operation conditions different loads.
